Participate!  It IS Important!

We tend to pay attention to the schools when we have children who are students in them, but The Expression believes that we have a responsibility to care about the schools and the students all of the time.

All of these students will grow up and hopefully become constructive participants in society and possibly in the local community. They are tomorrow's electricians and mechanics, teachers and doctors, artists and musicians. We want to provide them with the best education so they can be the best people and develop the best skills. If they do, we all benefit.

One factor that impacts the quality of our schools is the quality of the people who lead the district. With the current superintendent retiring, a replacement must be found. The school district is inviting your input as they embark on this search. Please don't pass up this opportunity. Demonstrate that you care. Help them find the best!

 The school district has shared:

"We want to hear from you! The Boyertown Area School District Board of School Directors is beginning its search for a successor to fill the position of Superintendent of Schools. The Board of School Directors would like to know what qualities you would like to see in the next Boyertown Area School District Superintendent. Input from the school district’s faculty, staff, students, parents, and community is a valuable part of the search process.

The survey is anonymous. All responses must be submitted by July 15, 2024. Thank you in advance for your participation in the community survey.

If you have questions or need a paper copy of the survey, please contact the Berks County Intermediate Unit at 610-987-8486."
