Studio B, 39 E. Philadelphia Ave. in Boyertown, PA, announces a festive opening of its annual holiday art exhibit entitled “LIGHT” on December 5, 2025, from 5-7 p.m. featuring a show of works in all mediums from area artists. The exhibit is free and open to the public and will run through January 25, 2026.

Artists are challenged to showcase art on any subject or on the “Light” theme to light up the darker months of the year. Each year since the gallery opened in 2008, Gallery Director Susan Biebuyck has urged local artists to showcase their very best art work during this celebratory—and gifting—season. “During the dark, longest days of winter, presenting a gift of art provides bright and shining moments for the giver, the recipient, and the artist.”

Amy Forsyth, professor at Lehigh University, is juror for the exhibit. Forsyth studied architecture at Penn State and Princeton, worked for Michael Graves, and taught architecture at Penn State and UNC-Charlotte, before studying furniture design and construction, which she now teaches, along with drawing, 3D Design, and Experimental Musical Instrument making. She was a board member of The Furniture Society, where she edited the newsletter for several years and wrote for Woodwork Magazine and American Craft. In 2016 and 2019, she had a fellowship at the Windgate ITE International Residency, a two-month program at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, sponsored by the Center for Art in Wood.

Studio B Art Gallery opened its doors 18 years ago the first Friday in December during the kick off to Boyertown’s holiday season by hosting exhibits of fine art in all mediums allowing hundreds of local artists over the years opportunities to showcase and sell their work, hundreds of visitors to the gallery to experience the artists’ skills and creative responses to the varied themes and to meet with neighbors and friends to celebrate the artistic response.
