April 10: One-a-Day in Celebration of National Poetry Month

William Blake--artist and engraver--offers a profound call to find the infinite and divine in even the smallest, everyday things. He urges a heightened awareness and state of wonder at the miracles of life in hopes of inspiring a responsibility to protect all things.

He echoes Hamlet who acknowledges that "There is a special providence in the fall of a sparrow." A higher power is, of, and governs all.

"To see a world in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an Hour."
