One of Rich Zuber's annual--and favorite—community efforts is to honor mothers on their special day with flowers. To Rich, mothers are family heroes, and he'll celebrate them on May 8 and 9, 2026, in several ways.
Families are welcome to drive by Zuber Realty’s office at 201 E Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown, on Friday, May 8 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday, May 9 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. to pick up the gift of a 3 ½” potted inpatiens, begonia, or marigold.
Also on Friday, May 8, 2026, Zuber Realty will hand out long-stemmed carnations to moms who attend Berks-Mont Business Association’s (BMBA’s) wine walk from 5-8 p.m.. A regular stop on the wine walk, Zuber Realty agents enjoy chatting with those who stop in for snacks and a taste of wine. The agency has developed the reputation of having the best snacks.
In previous years, as Zuber agents handed out flowers to passing motorists or gave them out to visitors to the office, they were surprised and touched at the expressions of gratitude. “People came for the flowers even in the rain; this small gesture means a lot to folks," notes Mark Roberts of TriCounty+ Appraisal. Rich encourages folks to stop by each event early, saying, “Last year we ran out earlier than expected.”

Should there be any flowers leftover, Rich himself has been known to provide flowers for mothers at local eateries as part of the campaign to honor the area's mothers.
