I wasn't always aware of hydrangeas. But, boy, when I did finally notice them, I fell deeply in love!
Sandra Williams loves them too and offered the pink ones for our celebration that headline this article.
I have several.. On one shrub I find blossoms in a variety of pastels--pink, blue, and lavender. Very showy!

My lacetop variety comes in blue and white. It caught my eye in a tiny pot in the grocery story. So lovely.

A mophead--that, again, started in a tiny pot--was a gift from a student decades ago and now has taken over a prominent spot in my yard in a profusion of deep purple.

I cut a few and bring them inside to enjoy.

They're beautiful even as they dry.

I admire them everywhere I go! These live in an area church's outdoor patio.

I love their delicate, yet hardy petals. In all colors. Like people!
Sunny, with a high of 89 and low of 56 degrees. Sunny in the morning, clear overnight.
Go Allison!
Thank you for the flower series Jane. it started my day off with beauty and color.
