The Boyertown Alumni Band and Bandfront are celebrating 50 years of music and pageantry. If you missed our Spring Concert back in April, please join us in the Boyertown park for a taste of the music the band has performed over the years.

Another summer season is upon us in the Boyertown Area. With it comes the annual "Fun Days in the Park."   In addition to rides, food, and the pig races, there will be live music in the Spaatz Band Shell. The Boyertown Alumni Band will, once again, be presenting a live concert Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 2:00 PM (NOTE: this is a time change from the past).

This event is free and open to everyone. Please bring a lawn chair, blanket, and your favorite snack to enjoy during the concert. Parking is available. This is a family-friendly environment, and children are welcome! There are rest rooms on the property.

Selections from Man of La Mancha, a 1960s Tony Award winner and Best Musical will be performed and feature the familiar “Impossible Dream”. Keeping with our nation's 250th Birthday, the John Phillip Sousa “Hail to the Spirit of Liberty” will also be featured. A flash back to the television sit-coms of the 60’s and 70’s will be loads of fun as you will hear the themes from I Love Lucy, Hogan’s Heroes, Mister Ed, and Green Acres, just to name a few.

This anniversary year is a very busy one for the Alumni Marching Unit. Band president Mr. Tom McHugh would like everyone to know that in addition to performing on our cruise to Bermuda in June, we will be presenting our annual Patriotic Concert (Keystone Firehouse} on June 27, a concert in Cacoosing Meadows Park, Sinking Spring on July 26, the Great Swamp Picnic on August 22. Look for the Marching Unit in the Pottstown July 4th parade as well. On Friday, September 11, 2026 the unit will be commemorating the events of that day with a concert at Boyertown Middle School West.

Keep your eye on the Boyertown Area Expression for details for these events!
