In Atlanta? Find "B Inspired" Episodes on WDJY 99.1 FM

Celebrate with me: FM radio listeners in Atlanta, Georgia, are meeting Boyertown's artists, writers, business folks, and members of our community. "B Inspired"podcast episodes are being broadcast on WDJY 99.1 FM on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. 

Surprising Developments
As some may know, Boyertown grad Ross (Yergz) Yerger has developed his own internet radio station: Yergz Radio. Yergz, who lives in Tampa, Florida, is a former student of mine; and after his guest episode on the "B Inspired" podcast, he added "B Inspired" episodes to his station's schedule. As his station has grown, "B Inspired" episodes, and others of his regular programs, can be heard in the Atlanta listening area on terrestrial radio. 

And so, Boyertown grad, Karen (Stein) Lupton, who is now serving as a member of Georgia's State House of Representatives, can listen to "B Inspired" to learn what's happening with folks in her hometown. (Karen was also a guest on an episode of "B Inspired.")

And now, friends of Ironstone Restaurant's chef John Hanna, whose hometown is Atlanta, can learn more about the people and the community in which John now lives and works. (A "B Inspired" episode featuring John will drop on April 5, 2024.)

I certainly had no thoughts of "B Inspired" expanding to other market areas, but it's just fun to consider that Boyertown is on the move!

"B Inspired":  Just a Bit of History
As good luck would have it, in late February 2020, just several weeks before COVID shut down the world, my friend Bill Vitiello helped me develop the podcast.  Bill named it--I thought "Looking Up" might work as a name, but he had the much better one! He also created the logo artwork, and, in instructing me, became my first guest. 

And every week since, I've "dropped" an episode that features someone in our local area. I'm never out of people whom I know--or just meet--who inspire me and whom I want my audience to meet and know better. It's so much fun to learn more about them and to learn about their life's journeys. And, of course, the better we know one another, the stronger our community will become.
