The Boyertown Area School District's Technology Association (TSA) programs have consistently produced award winners, but none quite like McKenna Smith.

A recent Boyertown Area Senior High (BASH) graduate, Smith followed graduation with a trip to Nashville, TN to participate in the 2025 TSA Nationals. Not only did she place in the top two once, but twice. That makes five National awards in three years - something no other BASH student has ever accomplished, and one of the greatest results for National wins any PA student has achieved!

2025 - Architecture CADD 1st in the World

2025 - Engineering Design 2nd in the World

2024 - Architectural CADD 1st in the World

2023 - Architectural Design 3rd in the World

2023 - Biotechnology Design 2nd in the World

For 2024-2025, McKenna also served as the Pennsylvania State Treasurer for TSA, coached field hockey and lacrosse for elementary schoolers in the district, and worked as an Architectural Intern at Muhlenberg-Greene Architects..

As a member of the Class of 2029 at Georgia Tech, Smith, a CoD. Dean's Scholar, plans to pursue her B.S. in Architecture.
