"B Inspired" Applauds the Mission of Lisa Derenzo, Principal of Washington Elementary School

Boyertown Area School District's Washington Elementary School principal Lisa Derenzo offers a critical message to the  students under her leadership: "The World needs who you were made to be."

Lisa's leadership practices focus on building a caring community, looking for the best in every child and staff member, finding each one's superpower, and acknowledging respectful and compassionate behaviors in a myriad of ways.

As part of Studio B Art Gallery's "I AM: Proud" project, sponsored by the Boyertown Area Charitable Program, administered by Berks County Community Foundation, a booklet of the episode notes representing four-and-a-half years of conversations with over 200 community members, artists, and writers is available at Studio B Art Gallery or the Building a Better Boyertown office for a donation.
