Gilbertsville Fire & Rescue Co. Shares Details Of An Unusual Rescue

During our regularly scheduled monthly company business meeting, we received a call at the station from Wawa located on Grosser Road. There was a report of a duck in distress and impeding traffic (mama duck) and baby ducks that were stuck in a storm drain.

Crews responded out to assist with the removal of the baby ducks from the storm drains. With some creative engineering utilizing our stop/slow paddles and our trusty duck net, the baby ducks were returned to mom safely.

Summer Is Going To The Dogs

Building a Better Boyertown Shares that Thursday, July 18, the Boyertown Farmer's Market will host Dog Days of Summer: 

"Don’t miss our 3rd Annual Dog Days at the Farmers Market next week. We’ve teamed up with Zimmers Pets again and they never disappoint! Raffle baskets are being made, dog food for a year is back again, AND even a mobile dog groomer giving nail clippings!"

"Grab Fido and his best costume and meet us at the farmers market! " 

The market is located at 129 South Reading Ave. in Boyertown.  The event runs from 4:00- 8:00 PM.  



Bally Area Recreational Development Society Receives Donation
