Marilyn Basehoar is both a self-taught and classically trained artist, working primarily with oils, acrylics, mixed media, collage and small assemblage.

Her artwork often has 3D components, such as fabric, stones, and glass, and sometimes have a bit of humor or whimsy incorporated.

Two additional pieces in the series are on exhibit and for sale at Studio B throughout August 25, 2024, as part of the "I AM: Proud" project.
