Magical Swamp

I knew I'd marry you and yet I didn't know why
There would have to be a reason
Maybe I'd rather fly
And if it didn't come up
What would I do
I'd have to give my life away It could only be you

There really is no family
There really is no friend
Violet may be good for you
But she's really not your size
You know that I will miss you
Because it's in your eyes
I'll always have that reason
I couldn't marry just anyone

I married you for life
Could we be the reason
Or maybe just the One
We could have held on longer
We could've stumbled along
But you & I both knew exactly what to do

And now we're looking older
So glad we're more than friends
You really know me better
You are truly everything

We'll do this any way
I'd toast another moment
I'd toast another day
We really can't wait any longer
There's just so much to say

I'll love you & I'll keep you
In dying that we part
And pray for you until the dawn
That daily we confess
I love you till that breath of life ceases to exist

I'll love you every moment
I love you any how
It could be for half a century
Or a millennium or more
I really won't let go of you
Even when you go through that door
