Now that February--the Month of Love--is over, the staff of The Expression wants to offer thanks to those who contributed their "love stories." Our mission includes providing a space for the members of our community to express themselves on topics or experiences, hobbies or passions that help us to know one another better. This sharing will build a stronger community. This we know for sure!
We also thank organizations, businesses, and non-profits who have offered activities and opportunities for us to get together to learn and enjoy life in our community.
February 2026 included Berks Mont Business Association's (BMBA) "Sweetheart Stroll" in which businesses like Zuber Realty provided snacks and conversation for those who ventured out in frigid temperatures to visit participating businesses and organizations.

Lee Heffner, Zuber Realty agent, stands ready to serve wine and snacks during BMBA's Sweetheart Stroll.

Studio B hosted "Galentine's Day Tea Party" during the Sweetheart Stroll, organized by Zuber Realty agent Amy Muzopappa and hosted by Master Herbalist Jenel Schaffer for a hands-on Herbal Tea Blend Class for participants to learn about, sample, and create their own herbal tea. Attendees explored flavors, aromas, and the medicinal benefits of herbs, such as chamomile, rose, lemon balm and more. Each participant left with their own unique, handcrafted blend of herbal tea, plus the knowledge to confidently blend again at home.

Birthday parties, the art opening of "LAND" featuring over 40 local professional artists, creative writing and collage workshops held at Studio B during February 2026's snowy, cold weekends added welcome warmth of fun and friendship to the community calendar knowing that longer days and sunshine are on their way.
Below, Boyertown Area School District art instructor Destiny Bigler is ready to start an art activity during a birthday party. Tables are set for the activity and the party snacks. On another Saturday, Debbie Zaharchuk checks out the work of her participants during the creation of their Vision Boards.
