The New Hanover Township police department recently shared news of a detective's retirement.
Their social media post says:
"Today, we celebrated the retirement of Detective Mike Coyle after 20 years of dedicated service to the residents of New Hanover Township. Prior to joining New Hanover PD, Mike was a Sergeant with the Upper Perk Police Department.Throughout his career, Detective Coyle served New Hanover with professionalism, integrity, and commitment. In addition to his work here in the township, Mike also served on an Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, where he worked tirelessly to protect children and pursue those who prey on the most vulnerable. His experience, leadership, and steady presence have made a lasting impact on this department and the community we serve.On behalf of New Hanover Township and our entire community, thank you, Mike, for your years of service, sacrifice, and dedication. "
