In continuing the celebration of the myriad ways we "serve" one another, Studio B Art Gallery invites readers, writers, art lovers, and history buffs to participate in activities around the community featuring "service" throughout August. Writing workshops--"What happened to YOU?" Take time to reflect on moments of gratitude with Sandra Williams and me during a series of three writing workshops. On Sundays August 2, 9, and 16, 2026, from 1-3 p.m. we'll explore through discussion and writing how Shakespeare's play Hamlet " helps us to understand life's challenges--our own or another's--where critical decisions need to be made. Literature allows us, through vicarious experiences, an opportunity to evaluate the wisdom of characters' choices of action that may inform our own.
Storywalk® --"Be Kind": Beginning August 1, 2026, the Boyertown Community Library 's Storywalk® in the park features Pat Zielow Miller's story "Be Kind."
Museum Tour: To honor our service men and women, Studio B offers 20 free tickets to tour the Spaatz Museum during the museum's open hours during July and August. Tickets are available at Studio B Art Gallery Thursdays-Sundays 12 p.m.-4 p.m. Two tickets per person.
Art Exhibit: Visit the "In Service" art exhibit at Studio B featuring dozens of local artists who responded to the theme and a retrospective of Bob Wood's artwork; take time to read the "thank you" cards that are on exhibit that offer words of gratitude from students and members of the community. "In Service" continues through August 23, 2026.
