BOYERTOWN, PA — Building a Better Boyertown (BaBB) invites the community to celebrate the 19th Annual Boyertown Oktoberfest on Friday, September 11th and Saturday, September 12th in the Boyertown Town Center parking lot.

A favorite Boyertown tradition, Oktoberfest brings together German heritage, live entertainment, great food and plenty of fun for the entire family. Guests can enjoy two days of music and dancing, German-inspired food, local vendors and artisans, children’s activities, and a festive beer garden featuring German brews along with locally crafted beers and ciders. A variety of food trucks and vendors will be on-site throughout the weekend offering food and non-alcoholic beverages for purchase.

Friday evening kicks off the weekend with a visit from the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile and the traditional keg tapping with Mayor Lori Carnes! Because of our exciting addition, Friday’s event will begin at 5:00 and end at 10:00pm.

The celebration continues Saturday from 1:00 to 10:00 p.m. Throughout the day, guests can enjoy live music and German dance performances, shop from local vendors and artisans, and enjoy activities for children and families. The popular stein-holding contest will also return with competitions for both children and adults. Saturday at 7pm is a special musical performance by Boyertown Area Senior High alumni, Stephanie Grace.

Admission to Oktoberfest is free. A cover charge and drink tickets are required to enter the beer garden. Some children’s activities on Saturday may include a fee.

Oktoberfest is also an important annual fundraiser for Building a Better Boyertown. Proceeds from the event support BaBB’s ongoing work to strengthen and improve downtown Boyertown, including downtown improvement efforts, beautification projects and programs that support a thriving Main Street District. By attending Oktoberfest, the community is not only enjoying one of Boyertown’s favorite traditions but also helping invest in the future of the community.

Building a Better Boyertown is proud to continue this community tradition celebrating Boyertown’s heritage while bringing residents and visitors together in the heart of downtown. BaBB is grateful to the Friendship Hook and Ladder Social Club, Gabelsville Athletic Association, Drug Plastics and Rhoads Energy for their continued partnership in making Oktoberfest possible.

Mark your calendars, gather your friends and family, and join us on September 11th and 12th for a weekend of music, food, community and Oktoberfest fun in downtown Boyertown!
