Bear Fever fans are invited to stop by Boyertown's Camping World on Sweinhart Road to take a selfie with the latest sculpture in the collection.

General Manager Michael Dundon and Sales Manager Sutton Smith invite visitors to take a selfie with Ruby who has found her way home.
Camping World Boyertown is a one-stop-shop for all things RV with over 100 campers for sale. The facility is proud to be known as the region's best RV dealer. Travel trailers, toy haulers, motorhomes are available along with as RV service and collision repair.

Bob Hakun is the artist who took on the project of painting Ruby Roadtrip. When General Manager Michael Dundon presented Bob with a photo of how he'd like Ruby painted, Bob took the photo seriously and added a bow to the top of her head and fashioned a belt buckle and boots with laces--unexpected additions to the sculpture. The additions added to the complexity of the task and also time to complete the project, but has given Ruby details that enhance her appearance and set her apart.

Bob currently serves as gallery director at Boyertown's Studio B Art Gallery. As an assemblage artist, Bob turns found objects into art. After his job designing and sculpting Halloween masks and costumes was exported to Asia, (along with the entire US toy industry), he turned his creativity into graphic design: working as a computer graphic designer and prepress manager at several printing companies.
Bob missed the tactile interaction of creating art with his hands, and, after spending his days at the computer desk using only the keyboard and mouse as his artistic tools, he started making heavy, rusty art assemblages from found objects in the evenings.
He has become known for his multi-themed assemblages in rust. Bob is a 1976 Graduate of Kutztown University with a BFA in painting.
Bob's "Ancient Robot Dog" is currently part of Studio B's "PETS!" exhibit that runs to November 1, 2026.
