Studio B Fine Art Gallery, 39A East Philadelphia Avenue in Boyertown, PA, is grateful to Suzanne K. Biesecker for a recent donation. The donation supports the exhibits and programs offered by the gallery throughout the year.
“Suzanne has been one of Studio B’s most loyal donors. She has supported the efforts of the Arts and Activities Alliance, a committee of Building a Better Boyertown, from our very beginnings—even before Studio B opened its doors,” explains Jane Stahl, Studio B’s Director of Community Relations. Suzanne’s donation supports a variety of the studio’s activities throughout the year including its first-of-the-year exhibit; this year the exhibit is entitled “Face” and is scheduled to open January 27, 2023.
As supporters of the arts, Biesecker and her late husband Fred have sponsored 2 Bear Fever bears, Boyertown’s popular public art project, in recognition of the importance of the arts in enhancing the quality of life and economic vitality of the Boyertown area.
"Beargon," painted by artist Gail Fronheiser, decorated with images from children's fairy tales, can be found welcoming folks to the Boyertown Community Library.
"Teddy Bearsecker," designed and painted by the late Sue Weller, sports a world map showcasing the locations of Drug Plastics and Glass Co., Inc. and is also a welcoming presence at the Boyertown Community Library.
“We are grateful for Suzanne’s generosity and loyalty to Boyertown through her on-going support of Studio B’s contributions to art and culture through our programs,” concludes Stahl.
