Bally Lions Club Puts the Town in the Holiday Spirit

The Lions share, "The giant snowflakes are up on Main Street in Bally! Special thanks to the Lions Club volunteers, to the Eastern Berks Fire Department Fire-Police for their traffic safety help and to the Bally Borough for allowing us to decorate our small town. SEASON'S GREETINGS TO ALL! In addition to the snowflakes, on Nov. 13 the Lions hung new holiday banners. Take an evening drive through town to get in the holiday spirit.

Small Business Saturday - November 25 Shop small in your community to support local business owners! Walmart and Target will survive. A local retailers' business depends on you!

Artist Sunday - November 26We learned about this one from Main Street America! Support local artists and performers by buying art and tickets. We have craft shows, galleries, musicians and museums (yes they count too!) galore! Check for dates - you might want to celebrate this one early if certain places are only open Friday and Saturday (like the Belsnickle!)

Cyber Monday - November 27Discover deals on small business e-commerce sites. If you're shipping anything to loved ones out of town, make sure it's delivered on time!
