Over 40 children from the Boyertown and Pottstown area participated in Richard A. Zuber Realty's first annual coloring contest. Winners of the contest were chosen by Santa Claus at the agency's annual visit from Santa. The submissions by Harrison and Violet Robbins were awarded with gingerbread treats.
The contest organized by real estate agent Aly Heist. Submissions from the area's children, ages 12 and under, featured reindeer, Christmas trees, snow globes, snowmen, and festively decorated toy trains. Entries were displayed on the windows of the organization's Boyertown office.
"Kids had a great time," notes Aly. "The children were so proud when they dropped off their entires. Santa had a tough time choosing the winners, but we're definitely planning for next year's contest; it was heartwarming to offer an activity for the kids to enjoy," she concludes.
Sunny, with a high of 83 and low of 61 degrees. Sunny in the morning, clear overnight.
Kudos to Zack! In these troubled times, the world could use many more people like him. And kudos to Boyertown for providing the kind of atmosphere where Zack (and others like him) can grove and thrive. Finally, is the book mentioned still available? I'd like to buy one as I remember all of the people mentioned.
Yes, Mark. The books are available at Studio B Art Gallery and the Building a Better Boyertown office.
