Boyertown Area School District Has Shared "a special announcement:"

"Citizens of the Year" Reminds Readers ...

Nominations will close on January 26, 2024 for "Boyertown Citizens of the Year". Categories include: "Citizen of the Year," "First Responder of the Year," "Mentor of the Year," and  "High School Senior of the Year."  

Also, a limited number of tickets are now on sale for the April event honoring these award recipient.

Boyertown Community Library Shares Library Update

"Our new shelves are in and items are back on the shelves! The media rooms are open in the children's area and in the main library. Visit to see our new space for graphic novels, games, dvds, and audiobooks!"

Bally Lions Club Gives Old Eyeglasses New Life

"Thank you Bally area! With this latest 50 pairs, Bally Lions have collected 100 pairs of eyeglasses in 2023. Local Lions collection boxes are at Quigley Chevrolet, Ambler Savings Bank and Fast Tracks Bally 

Why Recycle Glasses? An estimated 120 million people* are visually impaired because of uncorrected refractive errors (far and near sightedness). Almost all cases can be corrected and normal vision can be restored with eyeglasses, contact lenses or refractive surgery. The lack of eyeglasses denies children and adults opportunities for education, employment and a better quality of life."
