Boyertown Area School District Closes Friday, Jan. 19 Due To Predicted Snowstorm

"Due to the weather forecast, predicted event timing, and the arctic temperatures, ALL BASD buildings and offices will be closed on Friday, January 19, 2024. There will be no non-public transportation.

Friday will be our 1st Flexible Instruction Day of the year. 

It is Day 5 of our 6-day cycle.

Secondary students will follow their Day 5 schedule using their FID resources for the 1st FID Day of the year. They should access these assignments via Google Classroom. In the event of a power outage or loss of internet access, secondary students can access their offline assignments on their student devices.

Our elementary students should complete activities found on their FID choice boards. If a student has their laptop at home, they can access their assignments digitally as directed by their teacher. 

All kindergarten and 1st-grade students and any students who do not have their computer at home with them should access their paper choice boards.

Students will follow a Day 5 cycle upon their return to school on Monday.

All after-school activities on Friday are canceled.
