Aunt Nannie's Bake Shop Needs Our Support

The Boyertown Area Expression extends caring best wishes to the Aunt Nannie Bakeshop family.

Their Facebook post says, "Aunt Nannie’s Bakeshop will be closed until further notice while our family gathers to support each other during an urgent family matter.

While we will fulfill all orders that have already been placed for the next few days, we won’t be open for walk-ins & we won’t be accepting new orders at this time. We do not currently have an anticipated date to re-open, but we will post updates on our Facebook page as soon as we can.

We thank you for your patience & understanding during this time, and respectfully ask for privacy."

Firefly Cafe Kicks Off Sale of In-House Made Baked Goods

They share: "Burger rolls, bagels, sourdough bread, desserts, all of it is made by us! And using only 100% organic flour and cane sugar, organic fruits, jams, etc. We set this goal almost 3 years ago, and I am really proud of us for achieving it. You might notice our return to a less processed menu, closer to our original type of menu that we opened with , but with so much more skill and experience behind us. We care SO deeply about the food that we put out, the ingredients we use, how it is presented, how it makes your body feel to eat it…Our food is better than it has ever been and it is OURS-you can’t get it anywhere else, certainly not at a chain restaurant or supermarket!"
