TODAY: Mackey Field Reopens After Extensive Renovations
"Grand opening details:
"Official opening ceremony will begin at 9am. You may bring a folding chair. Vendors can either set up before 9am or after 11am. No setup will be permitted while opening ceremonies is in progress.
"Following ceremonies, families and friends can enjoy food, face painting, personalized gear, raffles, speed pitch, hair cuts, and watch some great baseball games at the new field!
"If you ordered Mackey T-shirts, we will have a table set up for pick up. You will need the name that was used at the time of purchase. Baseball games will be played into the evening. Most of our vendors will be there until approximately 6pm, pending attendance.
"We are excited to celebrate this special day with you! See you on the 25th!"
Participate In or Attend the Boyertown Memorial Day Parade
According to a Facebook event post by Boyertown American Legion Post 0471 and Chaplain Mark Malizzi,
"Attention All, at this point this parade is a rain or shine event, So each person will have to make a judgement call if they wish to be in it based on weather that morning.

"You are invited to join with members from the Boyertown American Legion and many other area programs to say Thank you to all who have served in our Military!
"The Boyertown’s annual Memorial Day parade line up will begin at the Boyertown High School Monroe Street entrance at 8:30am on Memorial Day.
"All people or vehicles entered in the parade must be decorated or themed in a way to honor the USA and Veterans and should be at High School by 8:30 am to lineup. Custom Cars, Trucks, Floats, Military vehicles and Veteran Motorcycle clubs are welcome.
"All people will be held to a proper code of ethics and safety. No throwing anything like candy from vehicles.
"No burnouts or reckless driving will be allowed.
"The parade will travel west on Philadelphia Avenue to the Fairview Cemetery for The Memorial Day Service event to Honor those who have Served Our Country."
