Built to Wake Up
Dressed in half-melted mothbone
while lying in a bed of soured rumination,
confused after losing Ani’s Wig.
You decide to skip sleep for the night
to meditate with the dharmic bums
on Pinecone Street and Mustardseed Avenue.
Born among the causeway of Fourstone Mountain
under an indigo moon, you let
a triumphant smile blossom
and strode your glorious tatters
directly into the talcum of transcendent decree.
Beyond Bright
Paint your life the color of limitless—>
fall out of synch with the sleepy sheepfolds—>
divorce yourself from society’s Poisonous Mirrorism—>
cut the puppet strings from your head and wrists—>
sever the unholy uncontrollable volley of naïveté—>
observe the sacred language of the heart—>
wisely utilize the clocks abound—>
learn to swim—> better yet, learn to surf—>
never allow your glory to be slowed down
due to the peer pressure of mandatory mediocrity.
Keep going no matter what.
You are the brightest star
to ever light up the Universe.
