Talk about passion and enthusiasm! Let "B Inspired" introduce you to reading tutor Sarah Drewicz whose Storybook Tutoring business is all about making sure all children can read.
Sarah was an enthusiastic member of the Bear Fever team while in high school. She and I traveled to deliver a bear to artist Joe Hoover one afternoon and came away from his home inspired by his home where every inch of wall space held one of his paintings--often of flowers and gardens.
Sarah always wanted to be a teacher, but she found her passion learning about the science of reading and then offering to work with the children in her neighborhood--one-on-one--who were struggling.
Knowing that about 20% of children need at least a little help--and some a lot, getting all children's reading skills to grade level and above is her goal. And she's determined to get them all there!

Listening to your community is such an important part of being an elected official. Thanks to all of the candidates who had the courage to come out and answer 17 questions submitted by our community on the fly. I think it’s important to note that none of the incumbent candidates made it a priority to attend.
Thank you for the ghost stories at this time of year. It's great to have the variety of artiicles you (Jane and Leslie) put together for our local information, our entertainment and contemplation--keep up the good work!
