Local veterans will climb aboard the Colebrookdale Railroad’s Freedom Train today and leave the Boyertown station for a two-hour ride through the autumn countryside.
Pooling their resources, the Boyertown Rotary Club, the Boyertown Lions Club, Boyertown’s American Legion Post 0471, and Thunder Outreach Ministries teamed up with the Colebrookdale Railroad- Secret Valley Line to sponsor this Veterans Appreciation event as a way to honor local veterans and their families.
Two hundred reserved seat tickets were distributed free of charge to veterans who requested them on a first- come -first -serve basis. Each veteran was permitted to bring one guest.
American Legion Chaplain Mark Malizzi praises the sponsoring groups and Nathaniel Guest, Executive Director and Founder of the Colebrookdale Railroad Preservation Trust, for their thoughtful generosity in hosting this event to express appreciation to local veterans.

Excellent! Thanks.
