January 18, 25, and February 1, from 2-4 p.m.: Join me and Sandra Williams in a series of writing workshops "What Happened to  YOU?"  inspired by Ray Bradbury's novel Dandelion Wine.

In this 3-part series pf workshops, Sandra and I offer Ray Bradbury’s novel Dandelion Wine to explore memories, rituals, shocks, and revelations--what you love, what you fear, what you want to remember and understand about life's many joys and challenges to inspire your own writing.

Consider reading the novel and/or  listening to Jane’s podcast episodes on “B Inspired” on your favorite podcast platform. A free will donation ($20) is suggested. RSVP attendance requested: sandrosew@gmail.com

Sandra is a writer of poetry, fiction and essays, author of Moss on Stone: an historical novella and Time and Tide: a collection of tales (available on Amazon). Other writings at www.cosmicseanotes.blogspot.com

Studio B is pleased to introduce Debbie Zaharchuk, an artist eager to inspire your creativity through two new workshops on collage-making.

January 31, 2026: 10 a.m.-12 p.m.: Create a Vision Board to set your intentions, goals, dreams, and feelings for the New Year.

Cost- $30 pp

Vision boards are a powerful way to communicate and motivate. They are a representation of your goals, dreams, and feelings. Vision boards can inspire you and clarify what it is that you want. Or they can just be a fun collection of beautiful, inspirational images.

In this workshop,  we will be using images and words from printed media to create our own unique vision boards.

We will spend time walking through magazines and materials to gather images and then collage away! Examples and materials needed will all be provided. Participants are encouraged to spend a few minutes thinking about their goals and dreams. It can be small and silly or deep and contemplative-there is no wrong way to do a vision board!

Sign up with a friend or come make some new ones.

Junk Journals

February 21 10-12 a.m. cost- $30 pp

Bring your own blank journal or you can purchase one onsite, ranging from $5-$20

Have you ever noticed how much paper we use and toss every day? There are so many different kinds of paper that we come across and discard. In this workshop, we will collect and put to use scraps of paper from everyday life. We will gather our papers and start our own junk journals. A junk journal is a fun and informal book used to kick off art practice. They can be an assemblage of meaningful scraps, like ticket stubs and pressed flowers, a place to collect little doodles and sketches, and a place to experiment with color palettes.

Some collected papers will be provided  as well as examples to get you started.
