Gather all the women you know who deserve a night out and make March 7, 2026, a night to remember!
“Building a Better Boyertown is host to the 2nd chapter of our ‘Making HERstory’ dinner, a fundraising event to celebrate the amazing women of our community,” notes Krista Gross, event coordinator and initiator of the “Making HERstory” event. The event, beginning at 6 p.m., is held at the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles, 85 S Walnut Street.
Krista adds her initial motivation, saying, “When I first had the idea to host a women's dinner, I really wanted to think outside of the box. I envisioned it being more of an experience than a formal dinner. I wanted a night where the women of our community felt heard, and had the ability to connect in a space that feels safe.”
For the inaugural event, the Vehicle Museum transformed into a beautified space to nurture feminine aesthetics.

In her welcome to attendees at the inaugural HERstory in 2025, Krista offered, "Each woman in this room carries a story--of resilience, of love, of challenges overcome, and dreams pursued. And when we share these stories, we remind each other that we are not alone. We find strength in our sisterhood, hope in our shared experiences, and inspiration in each other's courage."
The ticketed event includes a catered dinner, entertainment, prizes and opportunities to "treat yourself"! To secure tickets or for more information about this project, visit, www.buildingabetterboyertown.org/projects, https://www.eventeny.com/events/making-herstory-2026-26072/Stirrups Bar will again be on hand for specialty drinks.

Part of the evening’s entertainment includes a panel discussion. Panelists will share highlights from their personal journeys and challenges, their experiences and challenges in breaking barriers as women leaders, tips to avoid burn-out by maintaining work-life balance through self-care, mentorship and ally-building, and what women of the next generation of women can do today to prepare for the future.
“This inspiring event brings the community together to listen, learn, and connect,” adds Ellen Martignetti, Building a Better Boyertown’s Main Street Manager.
Diane Hallman, founder of “Simple Systems for Thriving,” will offer tips on creating “calm, consistent progress” through the development of practical systems.

Stephanie Grace, a local country/pop singer-songwriter, will share her story as a rising star whose music offers “hope, strength, and relatability through life’s “ups and downs.”

Dana Kramaroff, a teacher at New Hanover Upper Frederick Elementary School, is the author of "The Do More Club."

Traci O'Connor owns and operates Boyertown's popular Brakeman's Café.

Rebecca Wise from Boyertown's local Thrivent office sees her role--her gift from God--as a servant helping clients be wise with their money by providing financial guidance that reflects their goals and values and empower them to navigate their financial journeys with confidence.

During the event, attendees will be invited to share and video record stories of "Service" as part of Studio B Art Gallery's upcoming summer project entitled "In Service." We all have stories of how we have happily served others or how others have served us. Building a Better Boyertown's "HERstory" event is a perfect place to kick off this aspect of Studio B's summer project.
Sharing our stories--allowing us to acknowledge our gratitude to others or giving voice to our willingness to serve--it is the project's goal to highlight the many kindnesses we offer to each other, demonstrating how important we are to one another, perhaps healing some of the divisiveness that exists in the world today, and inspiring us all to celebrate one another’s loving acts and offer more of them.
Proceeds from this event will go towards the Marianne Deery Community Gateway Project, honoring the former Mayor and Council Member who dedicated her life to serving the Boyertown Community.
