Local women’s achievements and community spirit will take center stage when Building a Better Boyertown hosts the second annual Making HERstory Women’s Dinner on Saturday, March 7, 2026.
Scheduled from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles, the evening will combine celebration, storytelling, and fundraising. Proceeds from the event will support the Marianne Deery Community Gateway Project, a community initiative honoring the late Boyertown mayor and council member whose leadership left a lasting mark on the borough.\
The event aims not only to recognize women’s accomplishments, but also to encourage conversations about resilience, leadership, and the many ways women contribute to their communities.
Guests attending the ticketed dinner— priced at $60 plus fees— will enjoy a catered meal along with live entertainment, prizes, and opportunities focused on personal well-being and self-care.
One of the evening’s highlights will be a panel discussion featuring five local women leaders. The panel will explore topics such as overcoming barriers, navigating career changes, and balancing professional ambitions with family and personal responsibilities. Organizers say the discussion is designed to spark honest dialogue about the challenges women face while also celebrating the creativity, perseverance, and adaptability that helsp them succeed.
In addition to the panel, attendees will hear from several featured speakers and performers whose work spans business, the arts, and personal development. Among them are singer-songwriter Stephanie Grace, productivity and organization expert Diane Hallman, author Dana Kramaroff, entrepreneur Traci O’Connor of Brakeman’s Café, and financial advisor Rebecca Wise.
The evening will also help launch a related community storytelling effort tied to Studio B Art Gallery’s upcoming summer project, themed “In Service.”
During the dinner, attendees will have the opportunity to record short video stories describing how women in their lives have served or supported others—whether through everyday acts of kindness or major contributions to the community. The recordings will be collected by Amy Muzopappa and Jane Stahl and shared online to inspire others throughout the summer.
Organizers hope the project will highlight the often-unseen ways people strengthen their communities by caring for and supporting one another. “It’s a chance to say thanks,” the project description notes, emphasizing the many ways service—both large and small—creates stronger bonds among neighbors.
By combining storytelling, inspiration, and fundraising, the Making HERstory Women’s Dinner seeks to reinforce a message at the heart of the event: that communities thrive when the voices and contributions of women are recognized and celebrated.
For Boyertown residents and supporters, the evening offers an opportunity not only to reflect on those contributions, but also to help fund a project honoring a leader who dedicated her life to the community.
