Twelve students from Boyertown Middle School West recently traveled to Penn State Berks to compete in the Berks County MathCounts competition.
The team consisting of Owen Odom, Jackson Heckman, Anthony Mercovich, and Philip Derr won 2nd place in the county.
After an exciting countdown round, Philip placed second individually and will advance to the state competition in March. Owen, Anthony and Libby Frain also competed in the countdown round and ended up 5th, 7th, and 9th place respectively. Other top-twenty finishers are Jackson(12), Greyson Zheng(17), and Alex Greener(18).

Sunny, with a high of 88 and low of 65 degrees. Sunny during the morning, clear in the afternoon and evening,
I am sorry I was delinquent and missed the presentation by Diane Lauer Hallman. Her topic is right up my alley.
Is there a way to share the Writer's circle events so that they populate a calendar?
Thanks.
Collaboration… that word was used by both highly-qualified candidates vying for the School Board vacancy on Tuesday. I have no doubt that this Board is becoming more collaborative and I have no doubt that this collaboration will lead to great things at Boyertown!
Very clever.
