Lucius White, an 8th grade student at Boyertown's Middle School East is the Class II First Place Winner of the 2026 Student Original [Music] Contest. The contest was judged by
Berks County musicians Chris Heslop and David Himes.
Lucius will receive a cash award and his piece was performed by his private teacher, Peter Leibensperger, at a special recital celebrating the 100th Anniversary of RMF and RMTA and the winning young composers. Lucius' teacher is a 2004 graduate of Boyertown Area Senior High.
This event was free and open to the public.
