The opening of the fine art invitational exhibit "Form & Fiber" at Boyertown's art gallery Studio B that features the sculpture and fiber art of 16 area artists found artists, friends, and patrons marveling at the diverse talents on exhibit and enjoying time together.

It was also a time to reflect on the 18-year tenure of fine artist Susan Biebuyck who, as gallery director,  founded the gallery, curating hundreds of creative themed exhibits and invitationals in the space, offering hundreds of artists a space to showcase and sell their work and dozens of writers a series of anthologies in which to share their poetry and prose, and providing patrons and friends from near and far opportunities to participate in the visual and communication arts, learn more about art and artists, and enjoy social opportunities that enhance creativity and build stronger bonds within the community.

In moving on, Susan welcomes artist Bob Hakun to assume her role as Studio B's gallery director. The "Form & Fiber" exhibit, co-curated by both artists, drew on Bob's strength as an artist who creates assemblages of found objects. Bob's fine arts degree in painting found a home as a graphic artist for 25 years and currently, happily, working again "with his hands."

The opening was well-attended.

There were deep discussions:

Time for fun with friends...

...and sisters

...a "photo bomb"

...and a Hug (See what I did there?)

Kate and Walt Hug hug.

Snacks and beverages.

Time for reflection...

...and sharing their art.

As the opening ended, another "era" begins. Stay tuned for new energy, new people, and continued creative exhibits and art-related activities to inspire creativity, bring joy and beauty, enhance friendships, and have fun!

"In Service" is the theme for the studio's summer's exhibit, scheduled to open  June 26, 2026,  that includes art-related activities around the community.

Summer hours beginning June 1: Thursday through Sunday 12-4 p.m. and Friday evenings 5-7  p.m. Artists are hosting and eager to share their work. Visit. Participate. Bring friends! Enjoy1
