Eager to have fun and generate funding, the staff of Boyertown's Community Library hosted adults 21+ on a recent Friday evening and families on Saturday afternoon playing mini-golf in the stacks.
Adults found their way around 18 holes sponsored by local businesses and individuals. Each hole had a theme and provided challenges the golfers had to traverse.
The library course offered a different challenge for veteran golfer Jamie Cascino. (Photo by Amy Muzopappa) Other golfers enjoyed the challenges.

Snacks and drinks were available at the“19th hole" and there was a chance to win a small prize at the 18th hole for those who scored a hole-in-one. In addition, a small basket raffle was held.

The event was completely sponsored so that all proceeds from ticket sales, anonymous donations, and donations from library patrons and businesses went directly to the library.
Library Board President, Amy Nase; Events Committee member and volunteer Sarah Everingham; and Sara Vasquez, Fundraising & Marketing Coordinator, expressed their thanks for the generosity of the community. The events raised almost $4,000 for the library.
