In addition to celebrating our nation's 250th birthday, the Boyertown Alumni Marching Unit (BAMU) cruised to Bermuda to celebrate our 50th anniversary of making music and pageantry together!

Fresh off the cruise ship, Independence of the Seas, the BAMU will present a patriotic concert on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 2:00 PM.

This concert will feature selections that were part of two concerts presented on the cruise in the Royal Theater. On Flag Day, June 14th,  the unit presented a patriotic concert to the many guests on the ship. The second concert featured pop music from movies, television, broadway and radio.

Both concerts concluded the group's signature tune, "Saints in Concert," featuring the alumni band front! Many more guests enjoyed the second concert after word got around the ship about this amazing music group representing Boyertown, PA, USA!

Don’t miss this upcoming patriotic concert at the Keystone Fire House (downstairs).

Selections will include some symphonic arrangements such as: "American Visions,"  "The Battle Cry of Freedom,"  "Sweet Land of Liberty," and "From Sea to Shining Sea." Of course there will be marches by John Phillip Sousa such as the "Stars and Stripes Forever"! Greg Mest, vice-president of the unit invites the community "to please come out to spend an afternoon with us celebrating the many familiar patriotic melodies everyone enjoys." He also extends thanks to all for supporting the BAMU these past 50 years. “

Tickets are $10.00 and the venue is limited to 200 people. Food and refreshments will be available. You can purchase tickets at Aunt Nannie’s Bake Shop, 913 Route 100 in Bechtelsville or Bachman’s Music at 38 South Reading Avenue in Boyertown. Limited tickets will be available at the door. The hall is handicapped accessible and air conditioned.
