“We’re going to need a bigger bus,” Vanessa Deskie announced, following Zuber Realty’s annual food drive for Veterans Making a Difference. The annual food drive includes a “Stuff the (Zuber) Bus” event at Boyertown’s Redner’s Market. This year’s event, held on June 20, 2026, brought in almost 30% more donations than the previous year according to Deskie, Zuber Realty agent and coordinator of the event.

“People were so gracious, so generous; it was an amazing, inspiring event,” she continued. “Celebrating the 250th anniversary of the country may have added to the spirit of the food drive, I’m so thankful for the community’s response and for everyone who assisted me in the project—folks from the office and my family--my husband, son, and granddaughter.”

Owner Richard A. Zuber, added, “While there were a surprising number of folks who said ‘Not this year,’ there were smiles from everyone. And the folks at Veterans Making a Difference applauded our arrival and couldn’t stop thanking us; they must have said thank you 30 times during the short time we were there. It really is a rewarding experience.”
