FREE EVENT!: Come out and meet Gritty(!!!) as the Philadelphia Flyers and New Hanover Parks and Recreation come together for the Grand Opening of The Rink at New Hanover Community Park, Wednesday August 7 from 4 pm to 8 pm. That's right, the Flyers are building a professional grade street hockey rink right in our beautiful Community Park. ~ Come for Gritty (and the New Rink) and stay for FREE Pizza courtesy of Peppe's Pizza & Grill and FREE Kona Ice courtesy of Whitetail Disposal. This is going to be an EPIC addition to our Park and our Community. This state of the art Rink needs to be seen to be believed and we have a few other treats planned as well.
