October 24, 1950: The Boyertown Auto Body Works has shipped a “Tour Wagon” to a royal customer, His Imperial Highness, the son of Emperor Haile Selassie of Ethiopia.

A tour wagon is designed as comfortable living quarters on wheels. It features a kitchen, bedroom, lavatory with shower, closets, electric lights and heat. (Common today, not so in 1950)
