I just had to laugh when I saw these cheap plastic reindeer with their red tongues sticking out more than 50 years ago. I purchased a set for probably less than 99 cents each. They were the first ornaments I purchased as a newly-wed-t0-be, and they began a tradition of purchasing something to decorate our family's Christmas tree each year to remember an event, a vacation, or a special occasion. And while we no longer decorate a live tree or even an artificial substitute, these silly reindeer remain among my favorites.
