As the frost of winter gives way to the gentle warmth of spring, Building a Better Boyertown is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated annual Coming out of Hibernation vendor event! We're bursting back into action to celebrate the awakening of nature and wake our sleepy mascot, Bearianne, from her winter slumber.

Year after year, we take pride in welcoming the families of our community and loyal visitors on the third Saturday of April to enjoy a day fun-filled day on Philadelphia Avenue. Coming Out of Hibernation will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. (Raindate  is set for Sunday, April 21, 2024 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.)

Whether you're a seasoned shopper or simply seeking a day of leisurely exploration, Coming out of Hibernation, offers something for everyone. From artisan crafters to loyal businesses, delicious food trucks to local restaurants, there's no shortage of treasures waiting to be uncovered. As a community-focused event, we're proud to support local businesses and artisans, providing them with a platform to showcase their talents and connect with customers who share a passion for quality, creativity, and sustainability. By shopping small and supporting independent entrepreneurs, you're not just making a purchase – you're investing in the continued vitality of our community.

There will be no shortage of entertainment throughout the day as well. We are excited to welcome the Boyertown Alumni Band and a variety of independent artists scheduled to keep music on the streets all day long. Along with musical entertainment we also have Fletcher the miniature highlander cow and some of his barn friends from Fluffy EnRoute Farm who are very excited to meet everyone!

Our event promises a delightful array of offerings for kids and adults alike, ensuring that every member of the family can enjoy a day filled with laughter, exploration, and community spirit. Hands-on activities hosted by local business owners are ready to spark the imagination of kids of all ages. At 11:30am we are going to need all the help we can get waking Bearianne from her long winters nap, so bring your loudest voice because after all her holiday shopping we’re sure she’s going to be a ‘bear’ to wake up!
