" I AM: Proud"--Jody Dolansky Releases First CD: Momma Connie Brims with Pride

Jody Dolansky, former secondary school English teacher and now a real estate agent with Zuber Realty, has added another "gig" as country singer/rock star in releasing her band's first CD titled Pardon the Mess. The album can be found on Spotify.

Connie Dolansky, Jody's mom, couldn't be prouder. Her words will surely resonate with all moms everywhere: "A mother's pride runs deep. I am so proud of the accomplishments of my daughter's musical achievements (other achievements too). Her father always said she had such a beautiful unique voice and she could go somewhere with it.

"After his passing, she started writing and singing her own originals as well as doing open mic nights with other cover songs. She has since started the band "Steel Hemlock" and plays as a single, duo or entire band around the area. She does private parties or public events.

"One of her most fun gigs recently was playing at a young girl's Taylor Swift themed birthday party. She loved it and so did her young audience.

"She and the band recorded a single "Honky Tonk Song" that came out on several music platforms last year. The band now has several original songs recorded on an ep. This ep is entitled Pardon the Mess and as of 8/8/24 can be found on multiple music platforms. Find it, play it and enjoy it...........Again, so proud!"

Jody Dolansky leads Steel Hemlock, a country/rock band based in Lehigh Valley, PA. Formed in 2023, they have gained popularity in the local music scene for their intense live performances and unique blend of heavy riffs, melodic hooks, and powerful vocals. Known for their soulful blending of twang and grit, Steel Hemlock is releasing their debut album this summer.
