The 7th annual Unity Tree lighting event will take place in Boyertown on Friday, December 6, 2024.
The lighting also kicks off the holiday season in Boyertown, with several other happenings on Friday evening.
- Santa’s Secret Hideout at 123 E. Philadelphia Ave Boyertown, PA, from 4:30-8PM featuring photos(with Santa), facepainting, and fundraising! A $10 donation includes Santa letter and photo. Proceeds go towards a youth mission trip.

· Boyertown Business Holiday Tour Stroll – 26 participating businesses will be open, welcoming the holiday season with some extra special merriment from 5-8:30 PM, along E. Phila Ave and Reading Ave, and all around downtown Boyertown.

This year's Unity Tree is the most beautiful yet: a 20 foot Douglas Fir, which was graciously donated by Mar-Jo Farms of Unger Lane, Boyertown.
Volunteers dedicated countless hours to transporting, raising and decorating the tree this year. Each year, the tree lighting event grows, as more and more people come together to celebrate Unity in the Community: the theme for the tree. This year is no exception as there are several additions to the usual schedule.
The event kicks off at 6PM with LIVE musical jams with Funky Frets and their Ukelele group. This year, there will be a children's chorus to help with the caroling. A limited number of candles and songsheets are available for the community to join in on the singing.
Boyertown Community Ambulance and Boyertown Area Fire & Rescue will be on site to meet and greet with the kids.
Magical Wonders Vacations will be providing a popcorn stand and hotdogs will be served by The Cascino Family. A special performance by the Boyertown Legionettes will also be happening prior to the tree lighting.
The grand finale of the 1-hour event is when the community participates in the countdown to light the tree at 7PM. Bearianne, the mascot for the Boyertown Community and sponsored by Building a Better Boyertown, will lead the countdown, along with Santa and his special helpers.
