Curtain Rises on BASH Production of "Once Upon a Mattress"

The curtain is set to rise this week on Boyertown Area Senior High School's production of Once Upon a Mattress.   Tickets to this fantastic fairy tale for the whole family can be purchased online or in the BASH Auditorium lobby from 6-8 pm on March 12.. The show runs through Sunday, March 16.

Once Upon a Mattress is a comedic musical retelling of The Princess and the Pea with music by Mary  Rodgers, daughter of the famous composer Richard Rodgers.   In the kingdom of Queen Aggravain and King Sextimus, the queen declares that no one can marry until her son, Prince Dauntless, weds, but she makes every princess undergo an impossible test to ensure they fail. When the unconventional Princess Winnifred arrives, she surprises the kingdom.
