Bee-Inspiring Foundation, a local nonprofit committed to pollinator education, announced a micro-grant to Boyertown Area School District. This grant, a testament to the Foundation’s belief in the power of youth, will support a student-led initiative at Boyertown Middle School West to develop multiple pollinator habitats. The grant will empower the students to purchase native plants, pollinator resting areas, and bird houses, fostering a sense of responsibility and ownership in them as they complete the project.

“The Bee-Inspiring Foundation is not just providing a micro grant and pollinator education to the students at Boyertown Middle School West, but is also fully committed to the success of this project,” said Emilee Koch, founder of the Bee-Inspiring Foundation, Inc. “We are excited to continue working with the school district on this project and hope to expand our partnership. We hope that by providing education about pollinators’ impact on our world, we can inspire the next generation of pollinator stewards,” continued Koch.

“We were delighted to welcome Emilee Koch, Miss Berks County’s Teen, to Boyertown Middle School West,” stated Mrs. Amy Dombrowski, Principal. “Her engaging presentation on pollination not only enriched our students’ understanding of the subject but also inspired them to appreciate the vital role pollinators play in our ecosystem. Emilee’s passion and dedication to environmental education are truly commendable,” concluded Dombrowski.
