Boyertown Junior Woman’s Club Announces $18,950.00 in Community Donations

[Boyertown, Pa- May 23,2025] –Boyertown Junior Woman’s Club (BJWC) recently announced contributions of $18,950 to benefit local communities. BJWC is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, one of the world’s largest and oldest nonpartisan, nondenominational women’s volunteer service organizations.

The club year, which runs from September through May, is filled with meetings, community events, and fundraisers. BJWC’s biggest fundraiser is their annual “Girls’ Night Out Basket Raffle.” The raffle, held in March, raised almost $17,000. This year the Boyertown Community Ambulance received a significant percent of the monies raised. A check in the amount of $11,850.00 was presented to Melanie Roth, President Board of Directors, to be used for upgrading and purchasing new equipment.

Notable 2025 contributions include $1,000 to "So Much To Give Inclusive Cafe," $1,500 to Boyertown Historical Society: $1,000 for repairs and $500 to sponsor the 2025 Boyertown Halloween Parade, $1,000 to Althouse Arboretum, $750 to Boyertown Area YMCA, $500 to Salvation Army for operating expenses, $1,000 to Boyertown Area Multi-Service, $500 to Boyertown Fire and Rescue for operating expenses towards a new truck.


So Much To Give Inclusive Cafe_2025]: Boyertown Junior Woman’s Club presented a $1,000 donation to Kassie Simpson, Director of Charity Operations at Pillars of Light and Love for So Much To Give Inclusive Cafe.



Boyertown Junior Woman’s Club presented a $1,500 donation to Rachael Keller President of the Board of the Historical Society. The contribution will support the 2025 Halloween Parade, as well as renovations to the Historical Society Building.

Boyertown Junior Woman’s Club presents a $1000 donation to Althouse Arboretum. The money was received by student leaders at Althouse Arboretum, Ken Hamilton, Executive Director and Donna Wethey, Development Coordinator.


Boyertown Junior Woman’s Club presents a $750 donation to Boyertown YMCA. The money was received by Alicia Dinnell, YMCA Director. The money will be used for assistance to residents who are unable to pay for program fees.

Boyertown Junior Woman’s Club presents a $500 check to Captain Jared Starnes of the Boyertown Salvation Army.


Boyertown Junior Woman’s Club made a $1,000 donation to the Boyertown Area Multi-Service. The check was presented to Frank Buttaro, Jr., Directory of Development.

Boyertown Junior Woman’s Club presents a $500 check to Chief Greg Deiterich.

Additionally, two $1,000 scholarships were designated to graduating Boyertown High School seniors to support their continuing education.
