The Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles is pleased to announce it will host the Fourth Annual Cars & Cones event on Thursday, August 7, 2025. This low-key cruise-in will be held in the Museum parking lot, adjacent to the Museum entrance, from 4 - 6:30 PM. No registration is required, and the event is free for both vehicles cruising in, as well as spectators.
The Museum will be open with extended hours. To multiply the fun, The Peppermint Stock Candy Store and Ice Cream Parlor of Boyertown, Pennsylvania, will be in attendance with ice cream and other refreshing novelties for purchase. Parking for spectators is available in the Museum’s upper parking lot and along the street.
During this year’s event, the Museum will be joined by Building a Better Boyertown for their Farmer’s Market. Residents are invited to shop local growers and artisans every first and third Thursday in the Museum parking lot, June through September, from 4 – 8:00 PM. This event features food trucks and your favorite local vendors, including Amid the Moss, Bauer Custom Woodworking, Bread in Bloom, Guldin Acres LLC, Hinterhof Farm, Kaizen Farms, KJM Produce, Layne Forever, Lehigh Valley Peanut Butter and Healthy Delight Cooking Oils, Lewis Farms, Lotus Lynn Wellness, Nae Nae’s Cakery, PG Enterprise, Philadelphia Apothecary, PoppyTales Farm, Rad Rooster Coffee Roasting Company, Red Barn Bakes, Rosedell Farms, Saint Rocco’s Treats, The Hex Factory, Whipped Catering Co., Will O’ the Wick Candle, Your Chocolate Guys, and a petting zoo from Ironstone Creek Farm. Parking for shoppers is available in the Museum’s upper lot and along the street.
The Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles is a 501c3 nonprofit organization founded in 1965 by Paul and Erminie Hafer and is currently celebrating its 60th Anniversary. The Museum, located at 85 South Walnut Street in Boyertown, Pennsylvania, preserves and displays examples of Pennsylvania's road transportation history in the former factory buildings of the Boyertown Auto Body Works. Over 90 locally manufactured cars, trucks, carriages, bicycles, and motorcycles are on display, as well as two examples of roadside architecture--a 1921 cottage-style Sunoco gas station and a 1938 Jerry O'Mahony diner. The Museum is open seven days aweek, 9:30 am - 4 pm. Contribution rates are $10 for adults, $9 for seniors and AAA members, Ages 12 & under are free.
