"B Inspired": Encore Episode with Oktoberfest Founders Cindy & Jeff Karver Recall Its Beginnings

In this encore episode from 2023 of "B Inspired,"  I enjoyed learning from Cindy and Jeff Karver, the founders of Oktoberfest, just how Boyertown's iconic event got its start.

Spurred by a challenge from community leader Charles Haddad, Jeff and Cindy initiated the community's popular and successful event that not only survived the first year's economic downturn, chaired it for five years and,  retired from the challenge,  have watched it grow bigger and better each successive year. 

Looking forward to the event's 18th year on September 12 & 13, 2025, the festival--under Building a Better Boyertown's event planner Krista Gross and Main Street Manager Ellen Martignetti-- promises more fun for all.
