Poet and retired Boyertown Area School District educator Phil Repko's book of poems, Pieces of April, will be one of the books on display at the 2025 Frankfurt Book Fair in Germany, October 15- 19.
The event is the world largest international trade Book fair that gathers thousands of publishers, authors, agents, and book lovers from around the globe. An annual event, it is described as a "dynamic hub for celebrating books and connecting stories with readers worldwide."
According to Amazon.com, where the collection of Repko's poems can be purchased, "Customers praise the poetry's traditional style, with one noting its musical flow. The book conveys raw emotion with precision, and one customer describes it as an uplifting evening of thought and reflection."

Lovely story. Thank you, Kathleen and editors for shaing it with us.
Sunny, with a high of 90 and low of 70 degrees. Don't forget your umbrella! Overcast in the morning, sunny during the afternoon, patchy rain nearby overnight.
I haven't been to the folk fest since I worked it as a teen helping to make apple butter. I hope the schnitz and knepp is still as good, and that you can still get vanilla ice cream with peaches. I still have some blacksmithed items from those years kicking around.
Not sure why the festival was moved as the location in East Greenville was nice. I volunteered as an apprentice for the ink maker when I was in seventh grade over 40 years ago.....
