Join Barbara Post at Studio B Art Gallery on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 1-3 p.m. to take a look at how master artists from the past & present have created their images of both real & imagined people, as well as their own (self) portraits. Interest in faces begins when we are babies, for practical and obvious reasons, and continues throughout our lives. Most of us enjoy people watching and even sharing our personal photos with one another. Long before snapshots, facebook, etc, there were quick charcoal/pencil sketches and especially portrait paintings. Free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

Barbara Post is a Berks County artist who has both taught art and created various expressions of it. She works through different media such as drawing, watercolor, oils, pastels, and collage & mixed media.

Her artwork has been shown in various exhibitions, both solo and group, and both here regionally as well as out of state. She continues to be active in several art organizations, especially the Berks Art Alliance.

Barbara particularly loves Art history and culture, and enjoys speaking before groups on many different themes, using artwork, paintings, and sculpture through the ages. For questions, you can reach her at barbarapost@comcast.net.
