Join Diane O'Sullivan, author of the long-awaited booklet featuring Boyertown's Bear Fever bears, at Studio B on Sunday, November 19, 2025, from 1-3 p.m. to learn what she's discovered about her favorite bears and the project in general. She's had a grand time and wants to share what's she learned about the bears, about Boyertown, those who sponsored them, and the artists who created them.
Diane caught Bear Fever soon after moving to Boyertown in reaching out to ask if there was a book about the Bear Fever project that she could share with her mother, a resident of Chestnut Knoll.
She was disappointed to learn there wasn't one available, but I allowed her to know that Paul and I hoped that someday, someone would step forward and take on the project. Surprisingly, Diane offered that since she was newly retired, she was looking for a project and she confessed to her love of the project.

The rest, as they say, is history as Diane spent 2025 collecting and organizing information and collecting photographs in order to publish a booklet in time to add to the celebration of Bear Fever's 20th anniversary. And she's eager to share what she's learned about the contagious community art project she loves.
